Clouds are back and thick in spots, as a southern storm (No. 1) skirts along the Ohio River! This will result in only a few flurries locally, while temperatures hover in the lower 30s and winds remain light. If you are traveling toward Cincinnati or Louisville, roads could slow with the steadier, wet snowfall.

This afternoon will be fairly uneventful under cloudy skies and chilly conditions, with northeast winds at 7-12 mph…adding to the chill.

Tonight and Wednesday’s morning rush hour should be fine with dry conditions holding and temperatures back into the upper 20s.

Wednesday afternoon gets tricky with storm No. 2 approaching, a greater impact for our area is expected! Sleet, freezing rain, rain and snow all in play for our area through the evening rush hour:

  • South of Indy: Brief period of sleet to steadier rainfall, flurries late.
  • Downtown: Mainly sleet with .10″ possible…changing to snow with light accumulations.
  • North: Sleet to steady snow with totals between 2″ to 4″ in spots for the entire event.

Another round on the way for Saturday into Sunday with more info to follow in the days ahead.
