A man has been arrested Friday in connection to the Dunham Park Homicide Investigation.


Day care owner Ametrea Christion of Sioux Falls, who faces one count of abuse or cruelty to a minor, appeared in a Minnehaha County courtroom Friday where her lawyer entered a not-guilty plea on her behalf. The 44-year-old Christion owns Wildflower Academy, which closed in October.


It’s been a whirlwind two days, but John Thune is out of Washington, D.C. and back home.


South Dakotans are still buzzing about last week’s election, not so much about the final results, but rather the rising national profile the state is receiving since the votes were cast.
