HOT SPRINGS, SD (KELO) — The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Fall River County.
It happened Friday morning west of Hot Springs when the driver of a car lost control while passing another vehicle and collided with a semi-truck in the opposite lane.
The highway patrol says the 26-year-old Hot Springs man driving the car wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. He died at the scene.
The semi driver was not hurt.
