A young man, 18, is in critical condition after being robbed at gunpoint Saturday night in Austin, according to Chicago police.
The victim was reportedly sitting in a parked car around 10 p.m. when two armed men demanded his property and began firing shots. He sped off, striking several other vehicles before stopping at the end of the 100 block of North Waller Avenue.
The Chicago Fire Department transported him to Mount Sinai with gunshot wounds to the head and neck.
No one is in custody, but Area Four detectives are investigating.
