SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) — The South Dakota Department of Health is reporting the first flu death of the flu season, according to a news release.
Last year, the DOH reported 48 deaths of influenza, according to their dashboard.
The person who died was from Corson County. There are currently 72 cases reported, with seven new hospitalizations.
