SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – Monday is Veterans Day and many businesses in Sioux Falls are honoring those who served with special deals and discounts. Most, if not all, of these establishments require an active duty or veteran military ID.

Breakfast options
Hy-Vee
Hy-Vee locations across the country are celebrating the 25th annual Veteran’s Day Breakfast on Monday the 11th. From 6-10 a.m., all veterans and active-duty military members will receive a free buffet-style breakfast. Veterans and active members will also get 15% off their groceries.
IHOP
IHOP is offering a free stack of red white and blue pancakes to veterans on Saturday, Nov. 9.
Perkins
The Great American Trio breakfast at Perkins, which includes three pancakes, two eggs and two choices of meat, will be free for veterans all day on Monday with a valid military ID.
Scooters Coffee
All Scooters locations are offering a free medium drink for veterans on Nov. 11.
Starbucks
All drive thru Starbucks are offering veterans a free tall coffee on Veterans Day.
Lunch and Dinner
Red Lobster
Red Lobster is offering veterans, active-duty military and reservists free Veteran’s Shrimp & Chip, which includes Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, served with cocktail sauce and ketchup, as well as crispy French fries and coleslaw for Veteran’s Day on Monday.
Olive Garden
Olive Garden is offering a complimentary entree from their special menu, which features dishes like chicken parmigiana and fettuccine alfredo, for any veterans that stop in on Monday.
Sickies Garage
Veterans can get a free Garage Burger or 20% off an item of their choice.
Famous Dave’s
Famous Dave’s is offering a free pork sandwich with a side on Nov. 11. Veterans and active military must show a valid ID.
Applebee’s
Veterans can choose between a free lunch or dinner on Veterans Day. The entree options include a cheeseburger, sirloin steak, chicken tenders, double crunch shrimp, fiesta lime chicken, oriental chicken salad or chicken penne.
Granite City
On Monday, veterans will eat free from 11-4 p.m. They can choose between Granite City’s classic cheeseburger or anything from their lunch menu.
Chili’s
Entrees will be free for veterans and active military on Veterans Day.
