SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Crews are working to clean up a diesel fuel spill near Brookings.
A post from the Brookings Fire Department says personnel are deploying absorbent booms to contain the spill on Interstate 29.
“Emergency units are currently operating at a tractor/trailer slide in near MM 131 Northbound on I-29,” the post says.
Officials are asking drivers to slow down and move over and say road conditions are not good.
