INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan police are investigating a person’s death on the east side.
Officers were called to a home in the 1700 block of North Irvington Avenue around 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Police at the scene didn’t disclose much information, calling it a “death investigation” for the time being.
Video showed multiple police cars and officers responded to the area, with caution tape roping off a yard. The scene was clearing by around 9:15 p.m.
IMPD didn’t clarify if the death was natural or suspicious in nature. Police called it an “ongoing” investigation and said more information would be forthcoming.
