INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a person was killed in a shooting Monday afternoon.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting happened in the 2300 block of East Werges Avenue around 2 p.m. Monday.
When officers arrived, they found a victim with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. The victim has been pronounced dead.
