Police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash in Sioux Falls.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported on Facebook that Interstate 29 and other roads are slippery in parts of the county, ice and other weather are causing problems. Two crashes were reported near Beresford at about 8 p.m.
The Sioux Falls Police Department is reminding people to not leave their cars running and unattended amid increased reports of stolen vehicle. Six vehicles were reported stolen Friday morning.
Drug overdose deaths have dropped 17% in the U.S. in just one year, according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Angela Kennecke with Emily’s Hope attributes that to narcan use.

Additional icing is possible due to freezing drizzle/fog that lingers into the morning.
