SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The S.D. Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources (DANR) has approved $24,416,257 on Thursday in loans and grants for drinking water, wastewater and solid waste projects in South Dakota.
According to a press release on Thursday, $24,286,257 was approved for low-interest loans and $130,000 in grants, administered by DANR.
The following cities and communities were awarded loans: Box Elder: $2M, Fort Pierre: $2.4+M, Lincoln County Rural Water System: $1.7+M, Mitchell: $13M and Pierre: $5+M.
South Eastern Council of Governments received a $100,000 grant and Walworth County received a $30,000 grant.
