SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said on its Facebook account that firefighters from Centerville and Beresford responded to fire near South Dakota Highway 17 and 294 Street on Saturday morning.
Dispatch said at about 11:10 a.m. Saturday that the fire had been stopped earlier.
The sheriff’s office said in its post that high winds an easily turn a controlled burn into an out-of-control burn. KELOLAND Weather predicted high winds today and into Sunday.
