BUFFALO S.D. (KELO)– First responders are asking people to stay off the roads in Harding County as crews fight to put out a large wildfire.
In a social media post, the sheriff’s office warned residents to keep off the streets and away from emergency personnel as they continue to fight the fire and smoke of a wildfire near.
According to posts, there was concern the fire could move towards the town Buffalo.
The community has been experiencing temperatures over 100 degrees the past week.
