WESTFIELD, Ind. — Officials with the Community Health Network announced on Monday that it has plans to build a new $335 million healthcare campus in Westfield.

According to a news release, the facility is expected to be around 425,000 square feet and will be located near 196th Street and U.S. 31. The facility will feature an ambulatory surgery center, a medical office building, an emergency department and a six-story patient tower. The project includes the reconstruction of two existing buildings, one located at 19800 N. East Street and 19900 N. East Street.

“This expansion reflects our responsiveness to Westfield’s growth and needs,” Jason Fahrlander, the network’s chief operating officer, said in the release. “This new state of the art healthcare campus aligns with our mission to enhance health and well-being in the communities we serve.”

Officials expect the facility to officer a range of services, including focuses on:

  • Women’s health
  • Integrative medicine
  • Orthopedics
  • Primary care
  • Behavioral health
  • Specialty services

Completion of the medical office building is expected in the first quarter of 2025. The release said the surgery center, hospital service building and hospital tower are projected to be completed in mid-2026.

Plans for the project are under review by the city of Westfield, the release said. A public hearing on construction plans for the site are expected to take place later this summer so members of the Westfield community can provide input.
