JuJu Brents is returning.

The Indianapolis Colts added their second-year cornerback to the active roster from the injured reserve list and he’ll be available for Sunday’s wrap-up against Jacksonville at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Brents, a product of Warren Central High School, was placed on IR in September after suffering a knee injury in the opener against Houston. He was designated for return and has practiced for the last three weeks.

“He had a good week,’’ coach Shane Steichen said Friday.

Injuries have plagued Brents since the Colts selected him in the second round of the 2023 draft. He’s missed 23 of 33 games with hamstring, wrist, quad, ankle and knee injuries.

In 10 games and nine starts, Brents has 49 tackles, one interception and nine passes defensed.

To make room for Brents, the Colts waived veteran cornerback Chris Lammons.
