Red Collantes ruled Division 1 of the weekly Alabang Tenpin Bowling Association (Atba) with an 878 total in a four-game series, nipping Mandy Palicpic, even as Nora Esguerra went home with the Division II trophy over last week at the newest bowling center of SM Southmall in Las Piñas

Mario Velasquez had 834 and Edgardo Gozo 798 to finish third and fourth, respectively, in the premier division, while Esguerra tallied 795 for a 16-pin win over Jose Sebastian.

Angie Bragado had 751 and and Johnee Pangilinan 748. Cash prizes were given to the winners, who also took home special gift packs courtesy of the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

The Atba is a group made up of bowling enthusiasts in the south and is headed by its board of directors, Zaldy Nacional, Bien Dollente, Wency Olivarez, Cesar Marquez, Cielet de Leon, Emma Marfil, Joebert Buenafe, Francis Bernal and Jansen Collantes
