Cincinnati police are searching for a suspect after an attempted abduction in Carthage on Sunday. According to police, around 4 p.m. on Oct. 16 District Four officers responded to the 7000 block of Market Place for an attempted abduction. The victim was an adult woman, police said. CPD released a video on social media from a security camera across the street that captured the incident. (The video can be seen in the player above.)In the video, a man walks up on an unknown woman from behind, grabs her and attempts to pull her in the opposite direction. The victim was able to fight the suspect off and run away. The video then shows the suspect driving away in a late model, possibly gold Toyota Corolla. The suspect was described as wearing an orange shirt and black pants. The victim requested to remain anonymous but released the following statement, “It was surprising because I would never have expected anything like this to happen. The only thing I was thinking of was my family, that I wouldn’t see them again. That is why I was fighting so hard to get away.
