We are fortunate to have someone like Seth to step into this seat whose work in College Hill has become the model for community-driven affordable housing creation and neighborhood revitalization without displacement,” Harris said in a statement.Walsh has been the catalyst for much of College Hill’s redevelopment in recent times. Council members like what he brings to the table and view him as someone with an agreeable, personable style.A good fit, they believe, for a council that prides itself on collaboration. “I am incredibly honored that I was selected to serve our great city and I can’t wait to get to work. There is so much talent on the current council and I look forward to collaborating with them to help shape the future of Cincinnati,” Walsh said in a statement. Landsman will resign and Walsh will be sworn in on Dec. 19 following the budget and finance committee.
