SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Minnehaha County State’s Attorney’s office has dropped criminal charges against a former Sioux Falls mayoral candidate.
Earlier this year, David Zokaites was accused of assault, interfering with emergency communications and violating a protection order.
All of the charges are now dismissed. Zokaites has run for mayor twice and most recently ran for a seat on the Sioux Falls city council.
