The Casa Grande Police Department has arrested three suspects responsible for the July 18th shooting resulting in the death of 35-year-old Benjamin Harmer.
This shooting occurred near the intersection of French Street and Ocotillo Street at 5:21 a.m.
Jeramiah Anthony Rivera, age 18, was arrested on Thursday, July 28th in Globe, Arizona. Miguel Angel Castillo-Tapia, age 18, was arrested on Friday in Toltec, Arizona. Alfred Reyes was arrested on Friday in Casa Grande.
All three were arrested without incident.
Charges of Murder and Robbery are being forwarded for each subject to the Pinal County Attorney’s Office for review.
Casa Grande Chief of Police Mark McCrory said “Once again, the Casa Grande community has shown its commitment to helping us safeguard this community. I cannot begin to thank you all for the support you have given our Officers and Detectives investigating this crime. Equally, I am proud of the diligent efforts of our Police Officers. It is evident by this outcome that we remain relentless in our pursuit of criminals and violent criminal behavior in the City of Casa Grande.”
This remains an ongoing investigation.
