OT Kelvin Banks Jr.,Texas
It’s not a surprise to see Kelvin Banks Jr. projected as one of the top offensive lineman in the draft class. Since he arrived to Austin as a freshman, Banks started every game at left tackle. Christian Jones, the Cardinals’ fifth-round pick last season, started on the opposite side of Banks while in Austin. In 2024, Banks only allowed one sack and won the Outland Trophy and the Lombardi Trophy. The 6-foot-4, 320 pound offensive lineman can play at tackle or can slide into a guard spot in the NFL.
What some of the experts are saying:
“Whether Kelvin Banks Jr. plays guard or tackle, the Cardinals will be happy to have him protecting Kyler Murray and blocking for James Conner.” – Kyle Stackpole, CBS Sports
“The Cardinals have done an outstanding job maximizing their draft capital over Monti Ossenfort’s first two drafts. Now, it’s time for the next step. Edge could be a priority at 16, along with offensive tackle or guard — Banks can play either of those O-line spots.” – Nick Baumgardner, The Athletic
