A 5 year-old girl died Tuesday morning after being hit by a car in Yankton. Preliminary crash information states that a driver of a Chevy Silverado was reentering the roadway on at a four-way stop near Mulberry Street. At the same time, a 5-year-old girl was crossing the street and was hit by the truck. The driver did not see the child.
For the second time in the last two months someone shot up a house hitting someone inside. The latest case happened Tuesday night near Whittier Middle School in Sioux Falls.
