SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Canton police are warning citizens of a scam going around.
According to a post on Facebook, a scammer in Canton posing as a local rental manager and reaching out to prospective homeowners.
This scammer offers rental services on legitimate for-sale addresses if the buyer pays an application fee through PayPal or similar apps. Canton police urge people to beware these scams.
