SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Sioux Falls Canaries claimed a 4-0 win over the Winnipeg Goldeyes Sunday afternoon at the Birdcage.
In the third, Josh Rehwaldt got the scoring started with a sac fly to left. Two batters later, Trevor Achenbach knocked a blooper to shallow right for an RBI single.
Next inning, Liam Spence blasted a two-run home run to right, boosting the lead to four.
Tanner Brown led the pitching staff to a four-hitter as he struck out seven over six innings of work.
Sioux Falls travels to Cleburne for three games before heading to Sioux City next weekend.
