CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. — A caller demanded money and threatened to detonate a bomb at a Crawfordsville CVS.
Officers from the Crawfordsville Police Department were dispatched to the CVS at 106 E Market St. on Friday at approximately 2:25 a.m.
Upon arrival to the scene, crews secured the premises and evacuated all employees as a precautionary measure.
The Tippecanoe County Bomb Squad conducted a thorough search of the building. No explosives were found on the scene, and employees were permitted to return to work, according to a press release from the City of Crawfordsville.
The reported threat did temporarily black traffic in the vicinity.
