Skies are clear and roads dry to begin our Tuesday morning. After a cold front passage last night, temperatures are colder with no fog issues, which should bring a decent start to the day! Sunrise temperatures will hold in the middle to lower 30s.
This afternoon will provide lots of sunshine and a really quiet day statewide, as temperatures reach around 50°, cooler than Monday but a great day is expected. In fact, it’s the best day of the week, in terms of sunshine and temperatures!
Clouds increase later tonight and into early Wednesday, as another cold front drops into the area. This will prompt a weak shower chance or pockets of drizzle, under heavier clouds. As the front passes, breezier conditions will be expected too, along with some brighter skies to end your day. Highs tomorrow will reach the middle 40s, marking a more seasonal afternoon.
Even colder air is set to arrive on Thursday and into Friday with another cold front. This will help drive passing snow showers on Friday and sharply colder air to round out the workweek…little to no accumulation is expected locally but a very cold night for IU/Notre Dame game on Friday night.
