Nix, 24, was the second quarterback in the game for the Broncos, relieving Jarrett Stidham, who was named the game’s starter earlier in the week.
Following the touchdown, Nix had completed 5 of 9 passes in the game for 44 yards. He also had three carries for 17 yards. Denver led 10-3 after the score.
