INDIANAPOLIS — A popular breakfast item (or a snack for any time of the day or night) will be the featured ingredient in Blue Bell’s newest ice cream.
The Texas-based company’s new Strawberry Toaster Pastry ice cream is available in pint sizes wherever Blue Bell is sold for a limited time. Indiana is one of the states that carry the brand, as well as states like Alabama, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee.
Strawberry Toaster Pastry is a creamy vanilla ice cream loaded with strawberry pastry pieces, colorful confetti sprinkles and swirls of strawberry sauce and white icing, according to a news release from the ice cream company.
“Our new Strawberry Toaster Pastry will wake up your taste buds,” Joe Robertson, the executive director of advertising and marketing for Blue Bell, said in the release. “We have combined so many delicious flavors in a pint-sized carton. The smooth vanilla ice cream and strawberry sauce complement the pastry pieces perfectly. The confetti pieces and icing swirl add a subtle sweetness to every bite.”
The company also recently announced that Tin Roof, a popular flavor for Blue Bell, is now available in half-gallon sizes. The release said that Tin Roof is a vanilla ice cream with chocolate sundae sauce and roasted peanuts dipped in a dark chocolate flavored coating.
