The painting is being gifted to Senate candidate General Michael “Mick” McGuire which Harry is supporting in this year’s Republican primary on August 2nd.

Although Harry Pike lost his vision over 15 years ago due to a genetic condition, he says he can see clearly who his choice for the U.S. Senate is. As a result, doing what would seem impossible, Pike memorialized the People’s Convoy in support of major General (retired) Mick McGuire in a unique painting.

Despite the fact that Pike was told at the age of 5 that he would eventually lose his eyesight to Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), he has overcome the challenges and continues to build, fly, and repair remote control airplanes, play drums, and has been known to make his neighbors nervous by using power tools to trim his shrubs.

A newly registered Republican, Pike explained that he created his painting for the benefit of the Mick McGuire campaign using elements that allow those without sight to express themselves through the paint palette.

Other than the placing of the lettering and the 3D printing of the truck wheels, Pike created everything on the canvas including the braille card in the lower left hand corner.
