IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) – On a busy final day of the inaugural Bandits Invitational, the Idaho Falls Bandits fell just short of winning the Battle at the Falls, defeating the Pocatello Runnin’ Rebels, but losing to Idaho Prospect Baseball.
The Bandits started the day with a solid performance against the Runnin’ Rebels, taking down Pocatello 10-3. However, Idaho Falls fell in its next contest to the Cheyenne Sixers 7-5.
Even with that defeat, the Bandits got the opportunity to win the tournament against Idaho Prospect Baseball, but IPB, which had not lost a game all weekend, won 10-6 to claim the first ever Battle at the Falls.
Next up, the Bandits head to a tournament at CSI while the Runnin’ Rebels make their way to Jackson Hole.
