WARRENSBURG, MO – Augustana Baseball advanced to the NCAA Division II Super Regional Sunday with a 9-5 win over Central Missouri to win the Central Regional Pod #1.
Luke Ballweg, Drey Dirksen and Carter Howell all homered in a four-run second inning for the Vikings (47-11-1). Will Olson later homered. Head Coach Tim Huber earned his 500th win at Augustana.
The Vikings will play Southern Arkansas on Memorial Day weekend for the Central Region championship in a best-of three series in Magnolia, Arkansas. Game one will be played Friday, with game two Saturday and a third game if needed on Sunday.
