JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is offering a $5,000 reward for information on a gun store burglary that occurred in Jeffersonville.

According to a press release, the Jeffersonville Police Department responded to Kentuckiana Gun Store around 6 a.m. Sunday because an alarm had gone off. After reviewing security camera footage from the store, police determined three individuals with masks over their faces arrived at the gun shop in a red sedan, gained entry to the business and took several firearms.

The Jeffersonville Police Department and the ATF’s Columbus field division are running a joint investigation of the incident.

Officials encourage those with information on the burglary to contact the ATF at 1-888-283-8477 or [email protected]. Tips can also be left via the Reportit app or by clicking here.

The reward the ATF is offering is part of a national initiative between the NSSF and ATF. The cooperative allows the NSSF to match rewards the ATF is offering in cases involving theft of firearms from federally licensed retailers.
