Predictions for the 2024 version of the Tennessee Titans are everywhere. Some outlets see them in the midst of a rebuilding process, penciling them in near the bottom of the league, while others are a touch more optimistic.
One person with a more positive outlook is Jamie Erdahl from “Good Morning Football,” who sees the Titans as a dark horse playoff contender.

The Titans have the potential to surprise. General manager Ran Carthon has assembled a veteran-laden roster with dynamic players at every level. The key to success will come down to how well the team plays together and quarterback Will Levis’s taking the next step in his development.
At this point, much of that is still unknown. The Titans have yet to see their full offense and defense play together on game day, with injuries hampering unit cohesion during the preseason. Plus, there is still much to learn about Levis. While he does appear poised for a break-out in 2024, competition becomes more formidable during the regular season.
The Titans could easily surprise in 2024 with a fourth-place schedule and an upgrade in talent across the board. But fans should temper expectations. Inexperience and injuries could stand in the way and turn 2024 into a building block. One thing is certain: They will start their journey against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
