SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Sioux Falls man was arrested following a shooting incident in near 33rd and Cliff on Thursday evening, police said in Friday’s briefing.

Quintin Latrelle Jackson is charged with several counts of aggravated assault as well as other charges.

Jackson is accused of shooting at one adult and three juveniles in an incident reported at about 7:20 p.m. The victims were not injured, police said Friday.

Police said that Jackson left the scene, but returned in a vehicle that matched a description from the alleged victims.

The alleged victims recognized Jackson and told police he was the shooter.

The suspect fled the scene and was caught after a pursuit with the help of the South Dakota Highway Patrol.

The incident was reported as a traffic crash and gunshots.

It’s uncertain what prompted the shooting. The incident is still under investigation.
