Alleged Highland Park parade shooter Robert Crimo III could be a witness at his father’s trial, a lawyer said during a hearing today, where a judge declined to dismiss reckless conduct charges against the elder Crimo.
The father has a November trial date on charges that his decision to vouch for his then-underaged son in 2019 on state firearm forms constituted a reckless action. Prosecutors say Crimo III had exhibited signs that indicated he was not a suitable person to own guns.
