This beloved woman-owned brewery known for its beers and award-winning hard seltzers shuttered its doors in February after operating for 10 years.
Garces Trading Co. at Kimmel
300 S. Broad Street, Center City
After only operating at Kimmel for one year, this Jose Garces fixture decided to close its doors there for good this summer. But owner Ideation Hospitality says this closing doesn’t adversely impact the Garces Trading Co. location inside the Cira Center or other plans to expand elsewhere.

After 17 years in business, this once café mainstay of South Philly closed down for good in March after leasing/rent problems and a community crowdfunding campaign quickly cut its efforts to help save it.
