SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — An airplane crashed outside of Wharf Saturday afternoon leading to minor injuries for the occupants.
According to a post on Facebook, at approximately 10:25 a.m. on September 7, law enforcement and emergency services were notified that a possible plane accident occurred near the northeastern part of the Coeur Wharf Mine area. Upon investigation, it was confirmed an aircraft had crashed.
Multiple agencies responded to the crash. Minor injuries were reported for the occupants of the aircraft.
