INDIANAPOLIS — May is coming, and every Hoosier knows that the engines are gearing up for the start of the biggest month of the year in Indiana with the Indianapolis 500.
So, the party must get started now with the release of the tickets for the AES 500 Festival Parade on May 24, 2025. The kick-off will start at 11:45 a.m. and the parade will start at exactly noon with the theme of “Connected Through May.” The theme highlights its diverse events and programming, according to a press release from the 500 festival officials.
“The AES 500 Festival Parade is one of the 500 Festival’s founding events and one of the nation’s largest and most respected parades,” said Bob Bryant, president and CEO of the 500 Festival.
“We’re excited to celebrate how this iconic event brings Hoosiers together, highlighting the sense of community that ‘Connected Through May’ is all about.”
The parade will showcase giant balloons, floats, marching bands, celebrities, local stars, and 33 INDYCAR drivers. Tickets for the event will start at $25.
