Sierra Jenkins
The Georgia State University family was deeply saddened to learn of the loss of one of our brightest stars, Sierra Jenkins. A reporter with the Virginian-Pilot newspaper in Norfolk, Va., and a former CNN news assistant, Sierra, 25, graduated in December 2019 alongside her mother, Moniquekia Thompson. Sierra was a valued member of the Panther family, and our thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones during this extremely difficult time.
