Ole Miss 38, Vanderbilt 24: The Commodores may well be able to keep this one close due to the Rebels’ mistakes in the passing game, but Ole Miss’ talent wins out in the end.

Ole Miss 35, Vanderbilt 17: I actually think the Commodores are getting the Rebels at a good time after a draining win over Kentucky, but Vandy has yet to show that they’re capable of tackling an opponent this good.
Blake Toppmeyer, SEC columnist
Ole Miss 42, Vanderbilt 10: Kudos to Vanderbilt for needing just four weeks to exceed last season’s win total, but the Commodores might not win another game now that the schedule stiffens. Ole Miss is about as well-rounded as any team in the SEC, with a stout defense, a quality run game, an impressive offensive line, and a dual-threat quarterback.
John Adams, senior sports columnist
Ole Miss 42, Vanderbilt 17: Rebels coach Lane Kiffin has complained about fans leaving Vaught-Hemingway Stadium early. That’s not a problem at Vanderbilt Stadium since so many of the fans are cheering for the visiting team. If they travel to Nashville, they might as well stick around for the entire game.
