The Tennessee Titans were back on the practice field on Thursday for their second practice of training camp after holding their first on Wednesday.
Just in case you missed the events of Day 1, you can check them out right here.
Unfortunately, Day 2 was far less eventful, as Titans players took part in drills and went half speed during team period, leaving us dry in the play highlights department.
However, the Titans did manage to add a little excitement by bringing in wrestling legend Ric Flair, who is in town for his final match this week.
“I loved [Mike Vrabel] as a player in New England. He just reached out to me and said, ‘you want to come to talk to the Titans?’ I said, ‘hell yeah,’” Flair explained, per Ben Arthur of The Tennessean. “My favorite player in the NFL right now is Derrick Henry. Hated him at Alabama, I love him here.”
Now a look at all the biggest takeaways from Thursday.
Day 2 of Titans training camp is over. Again, no notable absences and no one practicing wearing a non-contact yellow jersey. Team period was all half speed so no highlight plays to report.

#Titans‘ Vrabel: Said he hopes to give Treylon Burks a few opportunities to return punts in preseason. Notes that one of Burks’ biggest strengths is that he’s tough to bring down.

Jim Wyatt, Titans Online: “The Titans spent a whole lot of time working in individual drills and in walk-through periods, part of the acclimation period at the start of camp. Things are expected to get more intense in the coming days. The first practice in pads is scheduled for Monday.”
Wyatt: “After the practice session, tight end Austin Hooper put in some extra time with Tannehill.”
