SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – Sunny skies, but colder than average temperatures today for much of central and eastern KELOLAND.
As the week goes by, we’ll have warming temperatures and no mention of snow in the forecast, our seasonal snowfall may be done. Here’s where I’m currently at.
Sioux Falls is exactly half of what I predicted at 16.2″. That’s good for 10th on the list for least amount of seasonal snow!
Aberdeen was able to catch up on snow last week and has 22.3″ for the season, 8″ away from my prediction.
Pierre also picked up snow last week and has 15 for the season, half of my prediction.
And Rapid City, is 20 inches away from my prediction with 27 for the season.
I was happy we stayed below average to go along with the prediction, it would have been nice to finish at least a little closer. I would have never thought we would have finished in the top ten for least amount of snow.
