SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Sioux Falls man admits to robbing a bank last summer.
Abdihakim Ismail held up the Plains Commerce Bank on East 10th Street last July.
The bank teller initially hesitated to give him money, so Ismail says he put his hand into his sweatshirt and banged his finger on the counter, pretending it was a gun.
He then left the bank with more than $83,000 dollars and went back to his hotel, which was blocks away.
Ismail put the money in his room and when he went back outside officers arrested him.
