INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metro Police Department is investigating after a man was shot and killed at an apartment complex near the Indiana State Fairgrounds Wednesday night.
According to IMPD, around 11:35 p.m. officers received a report of a burglary at an apartment complex in the 1700 block of East 38th street.
When officers arrived they did not find any signs of forced entry. Officers entered the apartment with a key and found an adult male with trauma.
The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
IMPD say that there are no known witnesses, and do not have information on a suspect.
