INDIANAPOLIS – A man was critically injured in a shooting on the northwest side Wednesday morning.
Indianapolis Metropolitan police were dispatched to the 5700 block of West 86th Street around 5:40 a.m. Police runs showed a shots fired call and an attempted robbery run in the vicinity.
Officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
