Homicide detectives have arrested a teenaged juvenile for 2nd Degree murder after finding him hiding in an apartment at the same complex the shooting happened at.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to a shooting investigation after 32-year-old Marquise Maston was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the parking lot of 4001 West Camelback Road. Maston was taken to the hospital in critical condition as officers learned the suspect was hiding out in an apartment inside the same complex.
As detectives were investigating this incident, Maston’s condition at the hospital went from stable to critical and he died at the hospital as a result of the gunshot wounds.
Detectives later booked the teenaged suspect into Juvenile Corrections Center for 2nd Degree murder.
