INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating after a shooting victim walked into Eskenazi Hospital Sunday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just before 1:30 a.m., officers were dispatched 720 Eskenazi Avenue, the listed address for Eskenazi Hospital, after receiving a report of a walk-in person shot.
IMPD said officers arrived at the hospital and found an individual suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was last reported to be in critical condition. Investigators did not provide any information about where the shooting took place or when it happened.
No other information was made available. The incident remains under investigation.
