SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The southeastern corner of KELOLAND is under a Winter Weather Advisory Friday into Saturday morning.
Sioux Falls crews were seen filling up sand trucks Friday morning to prepare for the winter weather.
The area could see a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain. As we all know, that could lead to slippery streets and highways.
The alert includes Sioux Falls, so city crews are already taking steps to get ready for whatever mother nature has in store.
Freezing rain is expected to reach Sioux Falls around 8 p.m. and southeastern counties by 7 p.m.
