You saw that sack at the end of the first half. Levis went down hard and took some time to get back up. But he went into the locker room, got a shot in his arm, and returned to the field without missing a single snap. He’s tough, and that kind of attitude shows that he wants this job. He likes what he does, and he wants to keep doing it. Before you say, “Well, yeah, all quarterbacks want to be starters!” Of course they do, but not all quarterbacks are willing to be starters behind a line that can’t protect him. Levis wants to prove he can handle it, that he is the guy for the job, and he is willing to work for it. That’s the kind of effort and leadership this team needs.
