SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Sioux Falls man is charged with forcible rape and robbery.
A prosecutor says 19-year-old Zachariah Kline met the victim early Saturday morning and convinced her to go under a bridge with him.
That’s where police say he pulled out what she believed was a weapon and then allegedly raped her.
When Kline left, the prosecutor says he stole items in her backpack.
In court, Kline’s attorney claimed it may be a case of mistaken identity and someone else actually committed the crime.
The judge set the bond at $100,000 dollars cash only.
